Claudia Harvey

Twenty-plus years into her successful corporate career, Claudia Harvey began her first independent venture with Dig It Apparel® Inc. (www.digitapparel.com). Dig It® struck a deal with Kevin O’Leary of Canada’s Dragons’ Den and NBC’s Shark Tank. The resulting deal opened the door to launching and investing in other businesses and making a quantifiable difference in the lives of others. The recent purchase of Suncayr™ in December 2020 added patented product SpotMyUV® to Dig Its product line and will be slated to be in over 7000 retail locations worldwide.

Expanding her company portfolio’s, she is a Founding Partner of BG Wealth Group Inc., BG Investment Holdings Inc., and BG Marketing Authority, and 2020’s recent addition of the Village Pizzeria franchise.

In 2019, Claudia was awarded the Top Female Business Leader Award from New York’s International Association of Top Professionals and The Entrepreneur of the Year Award from UK organization Livewire. She also joined other outstanding influencers – such as Oprah Winfrey and Melinda Gates – as a contributing author of America’s Leading Ladies.

As she balanced raising a family of 3 and creating her own businesses, Claudia became an international keynote speaker and shared events with notables such as Tony Robbins, Mark Victor Hansen, Bill Walsh, Jim Treliving, Pitbull, and more.

Aside from her successful career, Claudia believes in the power of paying it forward. She sits on the international Advisory Board of Sonas.org and created the BG Scholarship Fund, which provides under-privileged children with a post-secondary education. Never forgetting her Canadian roots, Claudia is also a member of the Foundation Board of Princess Margaret Hospital, one of the five most renown cancer research hospitals in the world.

Major-General (Ret.) David Fraser

CMM, MSC, MSM, CD, MA, BA
President, Aegis Six Corporation of Toronto

David Fraser was commissioned as an Infantry Officer following graduation from Carleton University with a Bachelor of Arts in 1980. He served in various command and staff positions in the PPCLI from platoon to Division throughout an illustrious 30-year career. Most notable, he commanded the NATO coalition in southern Afghanistan in 2006. He is a graduate of the Canadian Forces Command and Staff College in Toronto, holds a Master’s of Management and Policy and is a graduate of the United States Capstone Program (Executive School for Generals). His honors and awards, include the Commander of Military Merit, the Canadian Meritorious Service Cross, the Meritorious Service Medal, the United States Legion of Honor and Bronze Star (for service in Afghanistan), and awards from the Netherlands, Poland, and NATO. He is also the recipient of the Vimy Award for contributions to leadership and international affairs and the Atlantic Council Award for international leadership.

In 2011 he, along with his partners, started Blue Goose Pure Foods, a producer of certified organic beef, chicken and fish. After two years, Blue Goose products were being sold in over 700 retail stores across Canada. After a brief stint in Dubai, David returned and joined INKAS® Armoured Vehicle Manufacturing as their COO in 2015. In 2016, he started Aegis addressing the needs of capacity building abroad and for the private sector within Canada. Today he works with BMO on their Canadian Defence Community Banking Program and sits on a number of boards including Open Text, Route1 and the Conference of Defence Associations Institute.

Mike Bonner

Head, Canadian Business Banking

With over 25 years of experience in the finance industry, Mike brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role as Head of Canadian Business Banking and Indigenous Banking at BMO.

He began his career at BMO in the mortgage line of business before landing his first executive appointment as District Vice President, Nova Scotia, in 2007. In 2014, he became Regional President, British Columbia and Yukon and in 2019, he was named the Senior Vice President and National Head, Treasury and Payments, Industry Sectors and Business Development. Mike graduated with a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Dalhousie University, in addition to completing a Fellowship with the Institute of Canadian Bankers and an Advanced Leadership Program at Rotman School of Management.

Mike’s passion for leadership combined with his commitment to eliminating barriers to inclusion for employees, customers and communities has led to the launch of national education programs, collaborative partnerships and inclusive banking products and resources, all intended to address equity gaps for underserved communities. He currently serves as Co-Chair for the first Indigenous Advisory Council representing BMO Financial Group as well as the inaugural Executive Sponsor of BMO’s Sharing Circle, a support and resource group for its Indigenous employees and allies. He also sits on BMO’s Leadership Committee for Diversity and Inclusion, an important forum that brings together senior leaders from across the bank who are accountable for delivering the Diversity and Inclusion agenda for the enterprise.

Mike has served on several foundations and boards across Canada. He currently sits on the boards of Moneris and the Royal Canadian Air Force Foundation. He was also a former board member of the Mental Health of Nova Scotia Foundation where he earned a prestigious Vision Award, the Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation, Northstar Trade Finance, Northstar Europe and the BMO Mortgage Corporation.
